Lopen Nima Wangdi
My name is Nima Wangdi and I was born in the village called La-khu in Punakha. I joined the Central Monastic body of Tashi Chhoedzong in 2002 and began my early monastic education in Dechen Phodrang monastery. I studied extensive Buddhism scriptures from learned masters during my stay in Semtokha and Tago Shedra. In 2017, I graduated with a M.A in Buddhist Philosophy from the University of Tago at Thimphu. Later, in 2018 I practiced Maha mudra preliminary meditation and currently I’m a researcher in the university’s research division.
