Library

Library The Dorden Tashithang Universityestablished its library in 2016 with the aim of preserving Buddhist texts and commentaries. The primary purpose of our Buddhist library is to safeguard canons and commentaries. Our library provides extensive research support and resources for both students and the teaching faculty.

In addition to offering copies of textbooks and articles, the library also organizes workshops and courses that go beyond formal graded coursework. These initiatives equip students with essential tools for success in their programs and develop skills that may not be acquired solely within the classroom. The library serves as a gateway to a wide range of resources for students and researchers.

Our collection includes books and commentaries written in various languages, ensuring easy access for both students and lay disciples. The library provides a conducive environment for studying, where anyone can sit and engage in research. Additionally, students have the option to borrow books for a designated period of time.
