The importance of English, both as an international language and as a means of communication, is now widely recognized. Our monks face numerous challenges in learning and speaking English. Understanding this pressing need, the faculty members of our institute have been focusing on teaching and learning English, especially for those monks who haven't had formal schooling.

To facilitate effective communication in the English language, our faculty has been conducting a Basic English course for the past couple of years, which is still ongoing. The course aims to provide necessary language inputs, including essential vocabulary, grammar, and language skills. Typically, our classes are held twice a day, in the morning and afternoon, for an hour each.
