Lopen Yonten Phuntsho
I am Yoenten Phuntsho who joined the Monastic body of Wangdi Phodrang Dzong in 2003. I began my early monastic education reading, writing and ritual prayer recitation for a year. In 2004, I was enrolled in the central monastic body and started to study in various ritualism for four years in Thimphu Tashichhoedzong. I studied Madhya-mika philosophy, Abhidharma and other Buddhist logics at Rinchhenling Shedra in 2008. Eventually, I graduated from Dorden Tashithang Buddhist University in 2018 by completing M.A Buddhist Philosophy course. I served as a researcher in the university’s research division from 2019 – 2021, and currently I’m an accountant officer of the university.
