Initially, at the age of seven I was enrolled in school and studied until fourth standard. Thereafter I joined in Dechenphodrang monastery in Thimphu and became monk, learned various basic monastic education of Drukpa tradition under the guidance of noble mentor Karma Gelek. From the year 2007, honoringJamgonMiphamChoekiNyinjed and Khenpo TseringDorji as my main mentor, I’ve studied Buddhist doctrines and completed the intermediary course from SewalaShedra, the seat of successive Jamgontrulkus in Punakha. Consecutively, I’ve studied under Khenpo Karma Rangdol in TashigangKanglungShedra and KhenpoPhustsho in ParoSangkhorShedra and completed my Bachelors of Arts in Buddhism. After completing it, I went to ThimphuDordenTashithang Buddhist University for further studies. Whilst there, I’ve received many teachings from accomplishedmasters such as KhenKunzangThinley, Khen Karma and KhenNamgyel and acquired MA’s degree in higher Buddhist studies. In following three years, I went to India for education tour and studied as much as possible. Finally after completing all my studies, I went to a meditation center in Punakha and received quintessential instructions on the practices of Mahamudra and Six Practices of Naropa. Currently I’ve completed the three-year meditation retreat from Punakha and resided at DoedenTashithang University serving as a lecturer.
